    Sold By Deaf-Mute Agent One Hand Alphabet AND Needle Book INTERESTING AND USEFUL You Will Be Amused In Trying It. Circa 1900s-1920s. Thick folded card stock measuring 3.5 x 3", containing two books of sewing needles tipped in on one side, each with a decorative cover, together with an instructional illustration depicting each letter of the sign lanugae alphabet on the other side. This was sold on the street by a "deaf mute agent". Some needles missing, two corners chipped, some toning present, faint handwitten pencil notes to back.  [5967]
