Live mealworms shipped directly from Georgia where we grow them.  We ship out worms Monday - Thursday via USPS first class and Monday - Friday if you choose expedited shipping.    We always include extras just in case.  Live delivery is guaranteed with post office pick up or if temperature at your location is between 40 and 80.   You will receive Giant size Mealworms.   They are not as large as superworms. If you are not sure what you want, please ask questions and look at the pictures for reference of size. These XL worms are more docile than superworms.   These are good as feeders or as bait.
Please give them several pieces of thinly sliced carrot or potato or soft bread when they arrive.  They do well living in dry grain based bedding like wheat bran, oat meal, or corn meal...... NOT corn meal MIX as it has salt and will kill them. The veggies are their water source. Our giant worms are well hydrated and fed when we send them out.  They will lose a bit of weight and dehydrate a bit as they travel to you but will plump up as you care for them. I

Worms going to locations with temps over 80 or under 40 should request that worms be held at the post office to obtain live guarantee  There is no cost for this extra service and will help ensure your worms are alive when you get them.  Don't leave them in a
mailbox
in the hot sun or very cold weather as they will surely die.
