    Description

    Rare Vintage Chinese Carved Needle Case 19th Century. A Chinese carved netting case, from the early nineteenth century. A substantial 3 1/4″ long x 12/16″ diameter. Carved all over with a wrap around dragon. The detail is quite elaborately carved. The bottom end has a finely carved rosette and the top has a matching rosette. Netting was a very popular pastime for ladies at the time. All beautifully hand carved and in very good condition. Exquisite piece for a collector.
